Pan Am taking off in the right direction

October 3, 2011 - Pam Rodgers
With Fall TV in full swing, I have had my fill of my regular programs. I now get to reflect on the new series, ABC’s Pan Am that I have decided give a test flight (sorry for the bad pun). I have watched the pilot and the second episode, and I have to say I like the course it has set for take off (last one I promise).

It is set in the 1960s and I have always been a sucker for period pieces. Some of my favorite movies are set in a time that I can only read about, but being set in the past works very well for the show. It’s nice to see what the “glory” days of air travel was like. It’s a whole different process than the one I have experienced today. I can’t wait to see more!

It’s still a new show so I’ll have to watch a few more episodes before I’m completely hooked, but for now it has my attention.

Check it out on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. on ABC!
