Follow up on Miller principal search

I received the timeline from Marshalltown Superintendent Marvin Wade for the Miller Middle School principal search. It looks like they are hoping to have a candidate ready for school board approval at the June 4 board meeting. Current Principal Sharon McKimpson will resign effective June 30. More details on the timeline are below.

May 9 Wade met with MMS staff after school about the process. May 18 Application deadline May 19 First meeting of interview committee (Committee consists of school district administrators, Miller staff, students and parents) May 23-30 Candidate interviews with students, parents and staff June 4 Recommendation to school board for the expected hire
