| | Parade season heats upJune 8, 2012 - Andrew PotterIt's a big month of parades and their corresponding festivals in our coverage area. On Saturday June 9, Conrad's Black Dirt Days parade will roll through town at 11:30 a.m. The following Saturday (June 17) at 10 a.m. the big Rose Festival parade will wind through State Center. If you missed those and still need your parade fix, Gladbrook will hold its traditional Friday night Corn Carnival parade on June 23 at 6:30 p.m. Don't forget to check out the rest of the festival events in these area towns as there is plenty of ways to celebrate in June.
