Legendary brings flava' to MarshalltownJuly 5, 2012 - Luke StalzerIt sure was a hot one on Wednesday which kept a lot of people at home instead of at Marshalltown's Fourth of July Festival, but a steady crowd was graced by the musical talent of D.J. Legendary. That's right, D.J. Legendary. This man was up on stage busting out anything from raps to hip-hop music all written by himself and his fiance. His voice was alright. It would put you to mind of a little bit of "Boyz II Men" mixed with some "Usher." His music, on the other hand, is something that you might have to be accustomed to, but once watching, you were singing right along. He was a great performer and was getting the crowd involved and breaking things down with them. "This is my dream," D.J. Legendary said after his show on Wednesday. "This is what I want to be doing for the rest of my life." If you're interested in seeing D.J. Legendary perform live, you can stop out at the Central Iowa Fair on July 13 or at the Iowa State Fair August 17 at 11 a.m. on the Budweiser Stage. D.J. Legendary will also be featured in the Iowa State Fair parade on August 8 in downtown Des Moines. Check him out! | Blog Photos![]() D.J.
