Santorum in Marshalltown Wednesday

Former Republican presidential candidate and U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum, will be in Marshalltown Wednesday (July 11) with U.S. Congressional candidate Republican Ben Lange, in support of Lange's campaign. The duo will hold a public town hall meeting at 2:30 p.m. at the Pizza Ranch, 2305 S. Center St.

Lange is running against incumbent Bruce Braley, D-Iowa, for the U.S. House seat in the 1st Congressional District this November. The district now includes Marshalltown.

Lange is an attorney from Independence who narrowly lost to Braley in the 2010 election. Both Lange and Braley have been regular visitors to Marshalltown in recent weeks.
