Enjoy summer, it's not here forever

Just over one month from now, I'll be turning the page to a whole other chapter in my life.

I'll begin my adventure at Iowa State where I will be studying Journalism and Mass Communication (surprise, surprise..), however, where I want to go with that is still up in the air. There's so many possibilities, but there's this feeling that's telling me this is where I belong, so I'm just rolling with it.

I am getting anxious and also a little nervous about up and leaving the place that I have called home for the last 18 years of my life. It will definitely be a huge change, but I know it's a change for the better.

So, for now, I'm just enjoying my summer while it's still here because before we know it, it'll be gone. Make sure you take advantage of all of the opportunities that come your way, and have fun. You know the saying, "you only live once," well, last time I checked, that was true, so live life to its fullest and don't hesitate to have fun.

Make this summer one to remember.
