'Big Brother' down to final five
September 11, 2012 - Bennet Goldstein
Well the addictive CBS show "Big Brother" is down to the final five contestants for this season. It's been an interesting summer and has kept my attention through the season, though it's had its typical high and low points. Let's size up the remaining candidates and see their chances to win the $500,000.
Ian — A mastermind who has came on as of late in the challenges. He's remained the lovable nerd, which could serve him well with votes from the jury if he makes the final two.
Dan — Gets the award for most lies this season and will deceive any and everyone in his path. His strategy has worked so far but I bet millions of viewers would like to see him crash and burn.
Danielle — So far she's played it safe but seems to be uncomfortable as her allies now become her enemies. She's about due for a meltdown.
Jenn — I'm surprised she's made it this far and "Jenn City" appears to be the next one to go.
Shane — Has a tight bond with Danielle but needs to focus more on his individual game. He's sort of been floating the past few weeks and needs to assert himself. Rarely do floaters win the big money.
My pick to win: I'm going with Ian, who I've been rooting for since my favorite player, Frank, was voted out. He's proven mental challenges are his strength and he has been holding his own in physical challenges as well lately.
