United Way Day of Caring is Sept. 26

The Marshalltown Area United Way will once again coordinate the Day of Caring on Sept. 26. Several businesses in town will get their employees out of the office to help area service agencies and nonprofits for a day of volunteering. The day also typically includes dozens of Marshalltown Community College student volunteers. Past jobs have included cleaning, landscaping and other duties to help spruce up the area.
