Branstad a Marshalltown regular

December 18, 2012 - Andrew Potter
With Gov. Terry Branstad’s visit to Marshalltown Tuesday, he’s becoming quite familiar with the area. Branstad visited Marshalltown Community College about the Skilled Iowa initiative (see a story about it in Wednesday’s T-R). He was just in Marshalltown last week at Lennox and also was at the Iowa Veterans Home earlier this month. All of this time spent in Marshalltown led to a joke from Paul Gregoire, of Emerson Process Management/Fisher Controls during the governor’s visit Tuesday. “I told the governor if you need an apartment here we’ve got one,” Gregoire said.
