Think spring — trout on the way to Sand Lake

Do you need a reason to think spring with the recent snow storms? The Iowa Department of Natural Resources will hold a trout release at Sand Lake, 2901 E. Main St. Road on March 29. They plan to release 200 brook trout and 1,800 rainbow trout. The event is free but anglers must be properly licensed and bring their own fishing equipment.
