Life can be too short sometimes

August 5, 2013 - Andy Heintz
I try to look at the positives with everything that is throw my way, but that was challenged this past week when I returned to my hometown of Earlham.

I was there to unfortunately pay my respects to a high school classmate who did at a very young age (32) with causes still unknown.

Certainly was good to catch up with some old classmates, but like most of us said, it just shouldn't have happened at the expense of our dear friend.

Jennifer left behind three young children -- 10, 5 and 2 -- as well as husband. Her older sister also had a couple of kids.

With a child of my own now, it really makes you think that we really might not be on this Earth for very long. It is hard not to take life for granted, but we all need to cherish the memories we have and the things we have that others may not have.

Live life to the fullest. You never know when it all could end.

Jennifer sure didn't know when God would take hers.
