No to the NBA's style of Christmas day jerseys
November 14, 2013 - Brett Van Waus
Being from New York when it comes to the NBA, I am a die hard, loyal Knicks fan. There has been a lot of criticism of the Knicks especially with the signing of shooting guard for the Knicks, JR Smith’s brother, Chris. I will not comment on that, but I will comment on the NBA’s Christmas day jerseys Adidas offers for the teams, specifically the Knicks. Let me paint you a picture of these Knickmas day jerseys. You have a V-neck shirt, it’s orange and has the Knick’s old school logo in blue and silver print stretched across the front of it. On the back, in silver and blue, is the player’s the number and last name. They seem legit, but I forgot to mention, they have sleeves. That’s right, sleeves. I saw a photo online and almost mistaken a Bull’s player for a soccer player. Tsk, tsk, tsk, Adidas what were you thinking? Maybe in another life I’ll be an Adidas fashion designer for NBA players, until then, I’ll just cringe on Christmas as I watch them play. If you haven’t by now Google image it or just wait until the game, you have to see it to believe it.
