Utilize the community, spring into the season

April 9, 2014 - Stephanie Ivankovich
Spring is in the air. The dirty snow has melted, birds are chirping and baseball is beginning—GO CARDINALS! To me, Spring is also a good time to kick those bad lazy habits, get out of winter mode and utilize the community. It’s warm. This means you and I have no excuse not to take a walk or jog outside. Marshalltown has a great dog park. Take your dog for a walk. I know I will. Spend lunches outside. The courthouse lawn has plenty of benches and chairs to spend lunchtime at if you’re working downtown. The atmosphere is pretty and the breeze is great. If you’re feeling extra energetic, dig through the garage and find your bike and ride it through town. Marshalltown is a small enough community that anyone could ride anywhere without getting to tired and the bike lanes are great. To get more ideas on how to spring into the season in Marshalltown visit the Chamber website.
