Painting is a lot of work

Painting a house seemed simple enough going in. The parts that need paint you paint. Right? I never guessed all the steps — the scraping, the priming, the taping of the windows, the 100 times up and down a ladder. And the hardest part is washing up afterwards each day. I don’t have the patience for that which means my hands still have specks of white paint.
