| | Pennies everywhereSeptember 11, 2009 - Andrew PotterI don’t know how this happened but for some reason everywhere in my life there are pennies. In my car, in my work desk, in a jar at home — pennies keep piling up. If they were actually cool and worth anything like nickels or dimes I would use them on pops, but pennies are worthless. One of my favorite pastimes at home is dumping out that jar and searching through piles of pennies for anything that is silver. These darn things are always in my way. I thought I heard in the future we will be without pennies. I’m looking forward to that day. I guess I could do the right thing and donate them to charity, but that would be a lot of work for about $3.21. So I’ll keep letting them pile up until I get the motivation to do anything with them. A penny for your thoughts? Please no more... Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
