| | I left out a word!September 25, 2009 - Pam RodgersIn my last blog I wrote about my new slow-pitch softball experience. To do so, I used past experience to explain where I was coming from. In the second sentence I meant to say I DON'T like to brag about myself. I didn't catch it until the next day, and it was put in Friday's paper with the error. I wanted to be sure address the mistake immediately. I have changed it in the original post and now I wanted to explain about it. I really do mean that I don't brag about myself unless it is forced out of me by simple questions about my softball background. My senior year I was first team all-state, all-district and all-conference and my team didn't even make the state tournament. I was also voted Times-Republican area player of the year. Most people who know me don't even know these things because I don't feel the need to brag about them. High school is over, so unless it's brought up in conversation, I keep it to myself. I don't want to appear arrogant so please read the corrected version and not the original. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
