| | MLB playoffs lack lusterOctober 1, 2009 - Andrew PotterIs it me or are the storylines for the upcoming Major League Baseball playoffs uninteresting. Most of the teams making the playoffs this year have made it in recent years which has sapped most of the buzz that usually surrounds the postseason. We love to root for the underdogs but there are none left in the running this fall. As the National Football League – in particular fantasy football — keeps getting more popular it appears it’s at the expense of professional baseball.
