Great tributes to great losses

October 21, 2009 - Pam Rodgers
So far this season, “Dancing with the Stars” has performed two spectacular tributes to two big losses in the entertainment world. On the Oct. 20 results show, all 16 professional dancers from this season teamed up and danced a tribute to Michael Jackson. It was amazing. I have not seen a better dance tribute done to the King of Pop. The dancers on the show really showcased his impact on the dancing world. I was truly amazed by the talent shown by all of the dancers. It was great to see such amazing dancers do Michael's moves to Michael’s songs.
But before Michael’s tribute on the first results show of the season, the professionals got together for a tribute to Patrick Swayze. It was really great. They showcased his moves from Dirty Dancing and incorporated music from his most famous films. It was a great way to remember Patrick. I have enjoyed “Dirty Dancing” since I can remember, and I enjoyed seeing the famous dance sequence performed by great dancers.
