Gearing up for home tour

This past week area residents have been letting me into their home to take photos for preview stories for the United Way Holiday Tour of Homes. The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 5 in Marshalltown and the stories will run next week. Even if you don’t like decorations this tour has much to offer. The homes are very nice and many include scenic overlooks, sun rooms and elegant rooms. Check out the T-R for more on the tour next week and thanks to those residents who let me snoop around their homes for a bit.
