Rodgers Review: Chick Flicks

Ah, my favorite genre of movies. This category is particularly hard to rate because I go to the most of these throughout any given year. This year for me one movie in particular stands out as being at the top of my list: The Proposal. It stars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. It was just a great movie. It was funny...Sandra Bullock was at her best. She play the perfect bit__...mean person. It was a chick flick at its best. It was a cleaver plot line and I enjoyed the whole movie. Betty White was also in it and played Ryan Reynolds’s cooky grandmother. She was amazing. She really knows her comedy. I would recommend this movie to anyone who hasn’t seen it. Prepare for laughter!
Other flicks worth mentioning are Times Traveler's Wife, Bride Wars, The Ugly Truth, New in Town, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, Julie/Julia and the Secret Life of Bees. These were all really good movies; so check them out!
My least favorite of the year would have to be He's Just Not that Into You. It was really bad. There seemed to be no point. It was riddled with story lines and most of them flat out sucked. And the two that were ok didn't outweigh the bad. I don't recommend this movie at all. if you haven't seen it, don't bother and if you have...I'm so sorry for you.
