| | Olympics rebounds with exciting SaturdayFebruary 14, 2010 - Andrew PotterAfter a rough day Friday which saw a luger pass away and a major malfunction during the lighting of the torch, the Winter Olympics rebounded with an exciting show Saturday. That speedskating tumble by two Koreans at the end of the 1,500-meter race which allowed Apolo Anton Ohno to get a silver medal was gripping. Other events also had me on the edge of my seat Saturday night including the first gold medal for the USA of the games by Hannah Kearney in the women’s moguls, who narrowly beat the crowd favorite Canadian Jenn Heil. Olympics, you’ve got me hooked again. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
