Yay for Nicole!

Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer of the Puzzycat Dolls, was declared the winner of Dancing with the Stars Season 10 on Tuesday night. I was so happy that she won. She was by far the best this season. I enjoyed watching her dance. It was a great season, overall. The showdown between Nicole and Evan Lycacek was everything I hoped it would be. For a season I wasn’t very excited about when it first started, it quickly turned into one of my favorite seasons of all time. I am sad that it has come to an end but very happy with the result.
Some may say that she had too much dance experience, but from watching other dance shows, I feel likt that dancing still couldn’t have been easy for her. I have seen trained danced struggle with ballroom dances on So You Think You Can Dance? That makes me believe that dance experience doesn’t always help a celebrity win the show. It may help them pick up routines a little faster and coupe with more difficult moves, but it doesn’t always mean they will be on the show until the end.
Okay, I’m off my soapbox now. I am also very happy that Derek Hough won too. He is now tied with his family members on the show (Both sister, Julianne Hough and basically a brother, Mark Ballas won twice). He definitely deserved to win again. He is the best choreographer on the show, and it’s great to see his hard work rewarded like this.
