Television withdrawl

June 13, 2010 - Pam Rodgers

Now that we are well into June I am experiencing the same feeling I get every year, a lost for what to watch on Television. With the exception of So You Think You Can Dance?, no summer show has started yet for me to give it a try. AND, I have come down after the season finales of my various shows left me wanting September to come sooner. During the summer, it becomes difficult for me to fill the void of my regular TV shows. Sure its nice outside and I love doing things outside. On a nice sunny day, I have no problem forgetting that my television line-up is on hold until the fall. But what happens when the weather outside it bad. We've had enough rain these past few day to keep me inside most of the day.

That leaves with a couple solutions. I can always fill my time with movies (in the theater, on DVD or television) but that also means I have to have the extra time to watch the whole movie and sometimes that's not always easy. I have my favorite TV shows on DVD, which helps the solve the problem temporarily.

I guess my next option is to start on my summer reading list that has built up over the year. I seem to have a pattern when it come to entertainment. Paperback novels, here I come!
