Messy way to end hoops season

The NBA Finals wrapped up Thursday night in one of the worst-looking championship games in recent memories. The announcers touted great defense and there was but there was also some awful-looking offense as the Los Angeles Lakers topped the Boston Celtics. Lakers star Kobe Bryant seemed so distraught when he got double teamed that he would just heave the ball toward the basket no matter where he was at on the court. The Celtics also had their share of shots taken that appeared they didn’t even look at the basket before they threw them up. I guess any two teams are prone to having bad games and at least this one was a close game. You just hope for better play in a game seven so a true champion can be crowned.
