Back from Southern California

My family just got back from a trip to California to visit relatives. We had a great time but it’s apparent the lifestyle is different out there than in Iowa. Not to say one is better than the other — just different.

In Iowa, we don’t have an ocean coast or mountains but we also don’t have traffic and a high cost of living.

There’s a lot more to do there but it’s also at a faster pace and hard to slow down. I guess it’s everyone’s personal preference, but peace and quiet sounds good to me.
