Don't mess with Mother Nature

Whoever made Mother Nature upset please apologize to her. If it’s not flooding lately it’s violent storms with booming thunder and vicious lightning — just ask the aquatic center or the courthouse.

It seems lately if it’s not raining the steamy weather is hitting us. I was reporting on something in Ferguson Sunday and was happy I could read what I wrote in my notebook after sweating all over it. I wasn’t even moving at the time and it was 5 p.m., not usually the hottest part of the day.

It seems I’m sweating through three shirts a day sometimes and I don’t remember ever doing that.
