Quite a weekend

I have had quite an exciting couple of days. It all started Thursday night when my pick for America’s favorite dancer, Lauren Frodomen won on So You Think You Can Dance?. Then Friday I went to a Yankees Royals game in Kansas City and sat through a 2 and half hour rain delay only to have my yankees lose 4 to 3. Talk about different ends of the spectrum. The weekend was topped off is a fantastic fashion when I went to the Saturday Yankee game. I haven't had much luck getting autographs in the past few years and have almost given up trying. That day was different. I went down by the dugout, not really expecting to get anything when Alex Rodriguez came over and signed. I wasn’t prepared for such a occurrence so in my quick thinking, I took my 2009 World Champions hat off my head and put it down for him to sign, and he did! I never expected to get his signature, and I am so glad I did. I was the highlight of the weekend to that point.
Then the game happened. A-Rod crushed three home runs in the game, each one traveling farther out of the ball park. It was awesome! It was the perfect way to end the trip. On the very day I get his autograph, I get to see a three-home run game from him. It’s the best Yankee game I have been to in a long time and I will never forget it. I am one happy Yankee fan!

P.S. I got Kerry Wood’s autograph too, but that was overshadowed by the A-Rod experience.
