I can relate to cruise passengers

November 12, 2010 - Andrew Potter
Let me get this straight. Those stranded on the cruise ship recently experienced foul orders, toilets that didn't work and their only form of entertainment was drinking warm beer. I can relate as it sounds exactly like living in the fraternity house in college. It seems packing 40 young men in a fraternity house is comparable to a luxury cruise line losing power. There are a few exceptions. They ate fruit and salads and in college our midnight buffet consisted of mainly grilled cheese. The cruise ship passengers had to live in filth due to circumstances out of their control while us in college were just too lazy to clean the place. Our rationale was if you are going to be throwing another party it's going to get messy anyway so why not keep it messy. Had to pass long the similarities as I read about the stranded cruise, my college life immediately came to mind.
