Police find 2 dead in Louisa County
COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa (AP) - State and local investigators descended on Columbus Junction after the Louisa County Sheriff's Office found two people dead early Sunday morning.
The sheriff's office received a 911 call that reported a shooting at about 1 a.m. on Sunday.
The sheriff's office did not release the names of the deceased, pending family notification. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is looking into the incident, along with county sheriffs and Columbus Junction police.
No further information was released on Sunday afternoon.
