Citations
On Monday Andres Lugo-Cortez, 506 N. 3rd St., was cited for theft, 5th degree from Wal-Mart.
On Sunday Heidi Ann Abernathy, 1703 Edgebrook Dr. Apt. F-3, was cited for trespass.
On Sunday Jose Luis Gomez, 505 N. 1st Ave., was cited for simple assault.
On Saturday Gregory Paul Curtis, 507 Dennis Dr., was cited for theft, 5th degree from Wal-Mart.
On Saturday Jeffrey Lynn Ross of Clear Lake was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Friday Cesar Eduardo Ochoa, 207 S. 12th St., was cited for trespass at Marshalltown High School.
Arrests
On Monday Martin Villagomez-Lopez, 210 W. Grant St., was arrested for public intoxication.
On Monday Raul Vazquez-Rangel, 5 N. 7th St., was arrested for possession of a Schedule II Controlled substance.
On Sunday Adrian Renee Rollins of State Center was arrested for theft, 5th degree from Wal-Mart.
On Sunday Eduardo Cervantes-Buenrrostro, address unknown, was arrested for public intoxication.
On Sunday Bethany Kay Minkel, 1113 W. State St., was arrested for public intoxication.
On Saturday David Allen Sickels of Cedar Rapids was arrested for operating while intoxicated, 2nd offense.
On Saturday Michael Allan Huhe of Oelwein was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
On Saturday Jimmy Lee Clark, 306 W. Nevada St., was arrested for arson, 1st degree.
On Saturday Kevin William Lingard, 407 N. 7th Ave., was arrested for theft, 5th degree.
On Saturday Craig Allen Slifer of Garwin was arrested for public intoxication.
On Friday Brian Joseph Hatch, 1004 S. 8th Ave., was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, trespass, public intoxication and possession of a Schedule I Controlled substance (marijuana).
On Oct. 21, William John Alman of Tama was arrested for burglary, 2nd degree, Class C felony.
Accidents
On Monday a semi driven by David Robert Hamilton of Searsboro was exiting the parking lot at Git-N-Go, 3302 S. Center St., when it collided with the rear of a car driven by Emily Rochelle Crawford of Charles City which was also exiting. Crawford received possible injuries, but was not treated or transported. Damage to the Crawford car was estimated at $800.
On Saturday a pickup driven by Charles Lee Hughes, 501 Dennis Dr., and a vehicle driven by Susanne Diane Sietmann, 912 Stegman Boulevard, were in the parking Maid Rite parking lot when a collision occurred. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Hughes pickup was estimated at $500 while the Sietmann vehicle received $1,000 in damage.
On Saturday a pickup driven by Rodney Michael Dempewolf, 2201 Bittersweet Rd., was northbound on South Sixth Street approaching the intersection with West Olive Street when it collided with the rear of a car driven by Andrew Kraig Johnson, 503 Arlington Dr., which was stopped at the light. No injuries were reported. Dempewolf was cited for operation of a motor vehicle with an expired license. Damage to the Johnson car was estimated at $500 while the Dempewolf pickup received an estimated $900 in damage.
On Saturday a car driven by Valerie Ashley Leger, 304 N. 8th St., was eastbound in the 700 block of Marion Street when it collided with street barricades belonging to the City of Marshalltown Water Department surrounding road construction. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Leger car was estimated at $1,000 while the street barricades received an estimated $100 in damage.
On Friday a car driven by Bernice Emma Sedlacek of Toledo was northbound on South Second Street when it went through the stop sign at the intersection with Nicholas Drive and collided with a minivan driven by Paulo Francisco Esteves, 103 S. 7th St., which was traveling west on Nicholas Drive. No injuries were reported. Sedlacek was cited for failure to obey a stop or yield sign while Esteves was cited for violation-financial liability-accident and failure to carry registration card. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $2,000 each.

Initial Appearances
Martin Gomez Lopez, 210 W. Grant St., public intoxication, pleaded guilty, fine $147.75.
Edwardo Cervantes, 3 S. Seventh St., public intoxication, pleaded guilty, fine $147.75.
Victor Felix, 306 Summit St., appeared on Fifth Degree theft from Kwik Star, pleaded guilty, fined $272.75, plus restitution.
Robert Weishaubt, 302 E. State St. #1, appeared on interference with official acts, simple misdemeanor, pleaded guilty, fined $397.50.
Adrianne Rawlins, State Center, Fifth Degree theft from Wal-Mart, pleaded guilty, fined $272.75.
Roseanna Buchanan, Tama, appeared on possession of drug paraphernalia, harassment of a public official, and driving under suspension, pleaded guilty, fined $282.75, $142.75 and $297.50.
David Weishaubt, 302 E. State St. #1, appeared on first-degree harassment and interference with official acts, public defender appointed, preliminary hearing set for 1 p.m. Nov. 13.
Ashley Keller, 405 W. Church St., appeared on possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts, pleaded guilty, fined $282.75 and $397.50.
Oct. 28
Jose Luis Soto, 119 E. State St. Apt. A, made an initial appearance on a Driving Under Suspension and a No Insurance charge on Oct. 2. Soto will participate in the Rocket Docket program with the next court date set for Nov. 6 in Magistrate Court. He was released on his own recognizance.
Danny Doty of State Center made an initial appearance on a felony domestic assault charge which is a Class D felony on Oct. 22. A Public Defender was appointed to handle his case. The Preliminary Hearing was set at 1 p.m. on Nov. 6. A no-contact order was put into place and Doty was ordered to turn over any firearms to the Marshall County Sheriff Office. Bond was set at $5,000.
