Funeral services for George Longman, 80, of Marshalltown, were held on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Kim Wilson officiating. Burial was in Green Mountain Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Merle Appelgate, Bill Havelka, Dennis Balmer, Bob Nichols, Dennis Lemker, Shay Walker and Beau Walker. Honorary pallbearers were Roger Woodworth and Jim Johnson.

Groups from Green Mountain United Church of Christ, Marshalltown High School Classes of 1946 and '47, 500 Card Club, Fisher Controls and friends and neighbors were in attendance.

Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
