Gilberto Martinez, 33, of St. Louis, Mo., died from injuries sustained in an auto accident near Steamboat Rock on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at Creps-Abels Funeral Home in Eldora with Father Jim Miller of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marshalltown officiating. Visitation will be held on Nov. 5 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gilberto's body will be returned to the place of his birth in Loreto, Zacatecas, Mexico for burial at a later date.

Gilberto is survived by his mother, Juana of Mexico, brother, Luis Armando Andrade Cruz of St. Louis, Mo., and a sister, Maria Felix Andrade of Mexico.
