Incidents
On Monday Michael Scott Huff, 2008 Edgebrook Dr., reported the theft of clothing, luggage and an in-dash car stereo from a 2002 Dodge Neon while parked at his residence. Estimated value of loss was $275.

On Thursday Marion Randall Sutton of New Providence was cited for burglary, 3rd degree.
On Monday Brittany Marie Bodensteiner, 406 Melody Lane Apt. #1, was cited for theft, 5th degree from Wal-Mart, 2802 S. Center St.

Associate Court
Nov. 6
Randy Akers of New Providence made an initial appearance for aiding and abetting in a burglary, 3rd degree charge and driving under suspension charge. He was appointed a representative from the Public Defender's Office and the Preliminary Hearing was set for 1 p.m. on Nov. 16. Bond was set at $5,000.
Michael Ray Harris, 105 E. Webster St. Apt. #105, made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Harris pled guilty and was fined $65, $22.75 surcharge and $60 court costs for a total of $147.75 to be paid by Jan. 31, 2010.
Edwin Brent Cole of Liscomb made an initial appearance on a disorderly conduct charge. He pled guilty and was fined $65 with surcharge and court costs for a total of $147.75 due by Jan. 31, 2010.

Christopher Wyatt, in between addresses, made an initial appearance on two violations of no-contact orders. A hearing was set in District Court at 1 p.m. on Nov. 9. A new no-contact order was set in place. The court appointed an attorney to represent Wyatt. He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to turn any firearms over to the Marshall County Sheriff or the Police Department.

Tanner Halverson, 604 S. 6th St., made an initial appearance on a contempt of court for failure to appear charge. The Scheduling Hearing is set at 1 p.m. on Nov. 9. An attorney was appointed to handle Halverson's case. The $1,000 bond remains in effect and bond for the contempt charge was set at $20,000, cash only on both.
David Michael Schwartzenburg, address unknown, made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated charge and speeding charge. A Public Defender was appointed to represent Schwartzenburg. The Preliminary Hearing was set at 1 p.m. on Nov. 25. He was released on his own recognizance and ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation.

On Wednesday David Vernon Bryant of Collins was arrested for serious domestic assault.
On Tuesday Paul Dean Harrison of Mitchellville was arrested on a local warrant.
