WEST BURLINGTON - Marshalltown Community College rolled past St. Louis CC-Forest Park 93-38 Saturday in women's basketball at the Southeastern Classic.
The 55-point margin of victory is the largest for the Tigers in more than five years.
Four players scored in double figures for Marshalltown (2-0), led by Indre Mikelanaite with 20 points. Lisa Brown finished with 16 points, Arielle Lockett had 11 and Courtney Sullivan 10.
Ralissa Nelson had a team-high eight rebounds and five assists to go with eight points.
Heather Eash contributed seven rebounds and six steals for a Tiger squad that held a 52-22 halftime lead.
Marshalltown travels to Freeport, Ill., next weekend. The Tigers face South Suburban Friday at 5 p.m.
