Woodward-Granger (3-0, 1-0) at Gladbrook-Reinbeck (3-0, 1-0)

Homecoming in Gladbrook pits the only 3-0 teams remaining in Class 1A District 4. Woodward-Granger, a preseason No. 1-ranked team in the state, is No. 3 in the latest Associated Press poll.

Parker Bolt, Chase Clark and Ryan Strohbehn each rushed for touchdowns last week as the Rebels rolled against Ogden.

Woodward-Granger is tied for fourth in 1A in defense at 4.3 points per game, while the Rebels are tied for eighth at 9.3 ppg.

South Tama (2-1, 1-0) at Mount Vernon (0-3, 0-1)

STC hits the road to face winless Mount Vernon. The Trojans' Erik Lux had two receptions, both going for touchdowns (60 and 28 yards) in last Friday's win over Clear Creek-Amana.

East Marshall (0-3, 0-1) at Gilbert (0-4, 0-1)

In Class 2A District 7 action, the Mustangs travel to Gilbert.

East Marshall is allowing 41 points per game (60th in 2A), while opponents are scoring 40.8 ppg against the Tigers (59th in 2A).

West Marshall (3-0, 1-0) at South Hardin (1-2, 0-1)

The Trojans have their first road district test in Eldora. West Marshall senior Dalton Ferch is averaging 10.7 yards per rush and has seven rushing touchdowns this season.

South Hardin's Levi Prosser-to-Dayton Balvanz connection accounted for three touchdowns last week against Roland-Story. Balvanz finished the night with six receptions.

Lake Mills (0-3, 0-1) at AGWSR (1-2, 0-1)

The Cougars started district action with a 48-0 setback at Class 1A No. 4 Dike-New Hartford. Lake Mills has been shut out in back-to-back games by West Hancock and Garner-Hayfield.

Woodward Academy (2-1, 0-1) at BCLUW (2-1, 0-1)

After undefeated non-district openings, both teams dropped their first district game last week.

Cole Thompson had 27 rushes for 138 yards and a score in the district opener. Deonce Cushinberry added two sacks.

LuaPou Lee is Woodward Academy's top running back with a pair of 100-yard games on the year.

North Tama (3-0) at Colo-NESCO (0-4)

The defending state champion Redhawks square off with the Royals in Colo for this non-district matchup.

The Redhawks, ranked second in Class A, ran their regular season winning streak to 34 games after a 42-0 victory over East Buchanan. North Tama has outscored its opponents a combined 147-0 this season and is joined by Cedar Rapids Xavier and Dike-New Hartford is the only Iowa teams yet to be scored on.

Jacob Wrage has completed 74 percent of his passes (31-for-42) with 465 yards and four touchdowns for the Redhawks.

Rockford (2-2, 0-0) at GMG (0-4, 0-1)

Rockford has its district opener against the Wolverines. Andrew Schriever rushed for three touchdowns, while Spencer Kelly had a ground score and punt return TD last week at Valley Community.

GMG dropped a 40-7 contest to No. 8 Newman Catholic last week. Chris Read rushed for 89 yards and a TD.

Grandview Park Baptist (0-3, 0-1) at Meskwaki (2-2, 1-0)

Meskwaki used a pair of 200-yard rushers in Winston Wolf (212) and Vincent Lasley (209) to take care of Harmony on Monday to complete a suspended game. Lasley averaged 17.4 yards per carry and Wolf 12.5.

Grandview Park Baptist lost to undefeated Melcher-Dallas 42-38 last Friday.
