LE GRAND - Class 2A No. 2 West Marshall cruised to a perfect regular season with a 63-0 victory over rival East Marshall on Friday night.
The Trojans (9-0, 7-0) scored three touchdowns in the first and second quarters both and got three scores from their reserves after hafltime.
Dalton Ferch rushed for 61 yards and a pair of scores while Tysen Streeter also rushed for two touchdowns. Duncan Ferch had a 27-yard interception return for a touchdown.
Josh Bunn caught a 56-yard scoring strike from quarterback Braydn Beals, who had 119 yards passing on just three completions on the night.
In the second half, Devin Chesler had a 38-yard rushing touchdown, Jared Riemenschneider had a 4-yard TD run and Cody Gadbaw returned a punt 60 yards to paydirt to keep the Mustangs (0-9, 0-7) reeling.
As the District 7 champion, West Marshall will play host to Bondurant-Farrar (4-5) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in State Center.
