Our heartfelt gratitude and deep appreciation is given to the residents of Marshall County. Your kindness and generosity have touched countless lives this past year, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season.
You have enabled us here at The Salvation Army to assist individuals and families when needs were made known.
We give a huge Thank You to The Salvation Army advisory board members, service clubs and faithful community volunteers for their tireless work and many long hours given in assisting with Christmas interviews, packing food boxes, sorting toys assisting with distribution and many other duties necessary in running our Christmas operations.
Many thanks to KFJB-KXIA, KDAO and the Times-Republican for their support.
The Salvation Army gives thanks to the Marshalltown High school students who provided pies; to the local businesses who donated food and supplies; and the individuals who donated turkeys and time in making the community thanksgiving dinner a wonderful experience.
To the Marshalltown schools who collected food, toys and money; to those who allowed us to place counter kettles in their stores and kettles at their entrances; to those hearty souls who braved the cold and rang bells at kettle sites; to those in the community who provided for the Angel Tree and Toys for Tots, we give our deepest gratitude and sincere thanks!
Marshall is truly an outstanding county with its residents possessing hearts that quietly show a wonderful gift of generosity. You have given to others in need, sharing a ray of light in an often dark and cold world.
To the many friends of The Marshall County Salvation Army, may God richly bless your hearts and honor your kindness.
