A Marshalltown family escaped a house fire this morning at 406 W. Madison St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded at approximately 9:58 a.m. The Marshalltown Police Department and Marshalltown Paramedic Service were also on scene. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
