Mika Rodewald scored 36 points as Iowa Central CC defeated Southeastern CC, 73-67, in the NJCAA D-II Region XI women's basketball semifinals Friday night at Marshalltown Community College.
Only four Tritons (27-5) scored more than two points on the evening with Rebekah Rolling (10), Lauren Christianson (13) and Alison Nagel (10) helping Rodewald along the way.
The sophomore Rodewald connected on 15 shots from the floor and went 6-of-11 from the line on the night.
The Blackhawks (26-6) got 22 points from Mariah Duke and 16 from Hazaria Washington in the loss.

Kianna Jacobs and Teasha Harris both had big night as the Eagles (29-3) advanced into tonight's Region XI final against Iowa Central.
The freshman Jacobs tallied 20 points while the sophomore Harris added 16.
The Bears (23-8) got a 16-point performance from Ashley Hagedom as well as a 14-point night from Joscelyn Coleman.
Kirkwood's season was ended last year by the Bears in the second round of the postseason tournament.
