Jorge Luis Alvarado, 207 1/2 N. 13th St., made an initial appearance on a operating while intoxicated charge, a interference with official acts charge, a loud noises charge, a open container charge and a driving under suspension charge. The Public Defender's Office was appointed to handle his cases. The Preliminary Hearing is set for 1 p.m. on April 20. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only. The court ordered that he obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days.

Alvarado also made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The Public Defender's Office will handle this case as well. The Scheduling Hearing is set for 1 p.m. on April 13. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

Jennifer Anna Santiago-Estrada, 406 N. 8th Ave., made an initial appearance through counsel, Barry Kaplan, on a serious assault charge. The Preliminary Hearing was waived. Santiago-Estrada was released on her own recognizance. A no-contact order was issued for the protected party. The court ordered that she have her attorney file an acceptance of service of the no-contact order by April 16.

Teresa Rose Waseskuk, 134 E. Main St. Apt. #714, made an initial appearance on a pre-trial release violation charge. He pleaded guilty to both charges. On the reckless driving charge the fine was $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75 due immediately. The fine on the driving while license is denied, cancelled, revoked or suspended charge was $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50 due immediately.

Marilyn Joyce Reynolds, 403 S. 4th St., made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. She pleaded not guilty and a Pre-Trial Conference is set for 9 a.m. on May 15. Bond will continue as posted.

Margarita Bollaz Morales, 207 S. 3rd St. Apt. #1, made an initial appearance on a theft, fifth degree charge through an interpreter. She pleaded not guilty and a Pre-Trial Conference is set for 9 a.m. on May 15. Bollaz Morales was released on her own recognizance.

Salvador Gutierrez-Arreola, 206 N. 4th Ave., made an initial appearance through an interpreter on a operating while intoxicated charge. The Preliminary Hearing is set for 1 p.m. on April 30. Gutierrez-Arreola was released on his own recognizance. The court ordered that he obtain a substance abuse evaluation and submit the results to the court within 60 days.

Nathaneal Shane Ramos, 405 Debra Dr., made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. He pleaded guilty and was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $272.75 due immediately.
