The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a gas leak at 1201 Fairmeadows Rd., a good intent call to 2542 Taylor Ave., and two medical assists with the EMS crew to 1702 S. 7th Ave., and 1705 Country Club Lane.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an outside rubbish fire at 1200 E. Merle Hibbs Boulevard, a good intent call to 705 Roberts Terrace, and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 109 1/2 W. State St., 1308 E. Olive St., and 106 N. 4th St.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an alarm system malfunction at 1 E. Main St., a passenger vehicle fire at 205 N. 15th Ave., and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1 W. Grant St., 1706 S. 6th St., 107 Bohen Ave., and 101 NewCastle Rd.
The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a dispatched/cancelled en route to 11 W. Grant St., an outside rubbish fire at 617 E. Anson St., an extrication of victims on South Center Street, a good intent call to 504 1/2 N. 1st St., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 1211 W. State St., 408 W. State St. and 134 E. Main St.

On Sunday, Mike Noid, 1847 Knapp Ave., reported damage to an outside door and the theft of a LG flatscreen TV from the living room and a flatscreen TV from the kitchen. Estimated value of loss was $1,600.
On March 29, Raymond Russell Elliott, 2832 160th St., reported the theft of a John Deere manual corn husker and two hog oilers from 1621 Underwood Ave. Estimated value of loss was $900.

On Monday, Brice Tanner Duff, 304 S. 2nd Ave. Apt. D, reported the theft of a Pioneer car stereo and two 15 inch Bazooka subs from a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer while parked at his residence. Estimated value of loss was $400.
On Monday, Jeffrey Allen Pepe, 909 S. 3rd Ave. (Half), reported the theft of a Mongoose bicycle from his yard. Estimated value of loss was $150.

On Monday, Jorge Luis Alvarado, 207 1/2 N. 13th St., was arrested for interference with official acts and operating while intoxicated.
On Monday, a car driven by Betty J. Miller, of Montour, was northbound on North Third Avenue when it entered the intersection with East State Street while the light was in the process of changing and a collision occurred with a vehicle driven by Cassandra Lee Dunsmoor, 3202 S. 12th St. Lot #75, which was traveling east and headed into the intersection as the light turned green. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Miller car was estimated at $3,000 while the Dunsmoor vehicle received an estimated $2,500 in damage.
On Sunday, a motorcycle driven by Scott Lee Tinius, 407 Bromley St., was southbound on South Center Street and could not stop for a turning no-contact vehicle, went out of control and entered the northbound lane where it collided with a car driven by Aaron Robert Raveling, 505 1/2 N. 3rd St., which was traveling north on South Center. Tinius was transported to Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center. Tinius was cited for failure to maintain control and violation of financial liability/accident. Damage to the Tinius motorcycle was estimated at $1,000 while the Raveling car received an estimated $3,500 in damage.
