JOHNSTON - South Tama overpowered Ankeny Christian for a 191-220 girls' golf dual victory on Monday.
The Trojans had the second-, third- and fourth-best scores of the day at Hyperion Field Club. Paige Van Dyk was the runner-up medalist with her round of 43. Taylor Van Dyk shot 45 and Kourtne Smith 48. Carrie Cibula added a 55 for STC's fourth score.
The Eagles' Victoria Grasso, a former state medalist, was the medalist with a 41.
South Tama travels to State Center for the West Marshall Invitational today.

Grundy Center girls run mark to 5-0 this spring
WATERLOO - Grundy Center's three rounds in the 40s led the Spartans to a girls' golf dual meet victory over Hudson on Monday.
The Spartans had a team total of 201 to outdistance the Pirates' 230 at South Hills Golf Course.
Hillary Samo of Grundy Center was the medalist with her round of 44. Josie McMartin took runner-up honors with a 47, while Baylie Wrage shot 49 and Mckenzie Mackie 61.
Brianna Gronoski led Hudson with her 52.
Grundy Center now stands 5-0 for the season.
