Forgery suspect arrested
Police arrested a Marshalltown man wanted on forgery charges Tuesday morning.
Josh Arcelo, 29, allegedly cashed a forged check for $876 on March 30 at the U.S. Bank, 2500 S. Center St.
Police served the warrant following a call that Arcelo was at his mother's house on the 100 block of North 12th Avenue, but had been forbade to be there, said Capt. Mike Hanken of the Marshalltown Police Department.
Arcelo is being held on another warrant out of Tama County for failure to appear at a pre-trial. His bond for Marshall County is set at $5,000 and his Tama bond is set at $6,000.
