ELDORA - CMB's Josh Zeiser was a four-time individual champion at the South Hardin Co-ed track and field meet on Friday.
Zeiser was first in each the boys' 400-meter dash (52.12 seconds), 110 hurdles (15.13), 400 hurdles (55.69) and long jump (21 feet, 2 inches).
Iowa Falls-Alden took top team honors with 138 points, followed by Madrid (134) and Denver (110) and CMB (86).
BCLUW was fifth with 82 points. The group of Luke Ashe, Taylor Sams, Levi Storjohann and Chad Dolphin won the 4x400 in 3:33.82 for the Comets.
Finishing second individually for BCLUW were Dolphin in the 400 (52.37) and Storjohann in the 1,600 (4:38.80). Storjohann's season-best puts him in the top five times in Class 2A.
Host South Hardin finished seventh with 61, led by sophomore Bryce Zeisneiss' discus title (147-6).
Sarah Galbraith helped lead the CMB Raiders to the girls' team title with 157 points as she won two events - 400 (1:03.41) and long jump (15-1 1/2) - and was the runner-up in the 100 (13.16). Madrid was the runner-up with 117, while South Hardin was the top area team in fifth with 78 points.
The Tigers' Sarah Boomgarden won the 200 (26.80) and high jump (5-1), in addition to placing second in the 400 (1:03.87).
The Comets of BCLUW won the 100 with freshman Mallory Vawter in 12.97 and the 4x400 relay (4:23.24). Colo-NESCO's Hannah Buseman took first in the 400 hurdles (1:13.74).
Denver's Kelsey Kirchoff swept the 800 (2:30.27), 1,500 (5:08.42) and 3,000 (11:13.23).
