ELDORA - The South Tama girls' tennis team remained unbeaten in its new conference, taking down South Hardin 6-3 in an NICL dual meet on Thursday evening.
The visiting Trojans (7-1, 5-0) won four of six singles sets and two of three in doubles play to take the dual victory. South Tama's top singles player, senior Kendra Bradley, improved to 10-1 on the season with a 10-5 triumph over Ellen Swartz.
Emily Martin, Madison Baack and Alexandrah Walker also collected singles wins for STC, with Martin moving her singles record to 8-0.
Bradley and Tori Appelgate defeafed South Hardin's No. 1 doubles tandem of Swartz and Alesha Kadolph in the closest match of the night, winning 10-8.
Martin and Baack also scored victory in doubles play, holding off Brooke Rush and Victoria Edgerton 10-5.
Wins for South Hardin (5-4) came from Makayla Fisher and Rush in singles, and the combination of Fisher and Katie Branch at No. 3 doubles.
