Randy Randall of Melbourne inspects a Garlic plant while spouse Kathy looks on. The Randalls were at the Marshalltown Garden Club’s annual two-day sale held at the Anson Shelter House Saturday morning. The Randalls said they attend every year. Garden Club President Jean Klosterman of rural Albion said proceeds from the sale are used to support area projects.
Leftovers will be used for a variety of community projects throughout the Marshalltown area. Klosterman cited ongoing projects at the Iowa Veterans Home and Linn Creek Recreational Trail as examples.
