Police arrested a Marshalltown man on three misdemeanor charges, including child endangerment, following an domestic dispute Monday.

Police released details of the incident Wednesday.

To prevent his 23-year-old finance from calling police, Wall allegedly took her cell phone from her before he left the apartment.

Police charged Wall with child endangerment without injury, an aggravated misdemeanor, simple domestic assault and obstruction of an emergency communication, both simple misdemeanors.

Two third-degree theft charges for St. Anthony man

A St. Anthony man faces two third-degree theft charges after allegedly stealing a computer and various other items from Wal-Mart Sunday morning.

Police arrested Randle Christian Scott Hughley, 40, just before 10:30 a.m. for allegedly stealing just over $73 in items from Wal-Mart, said Capt. Chris Jones of the Marshalltown Police Department.

Police made reports of the incident available Wednesday.

Because Hughley has been convicted twice on theft charges, police enhanced the charge to third-degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor.

The arrest also brought with it another third-degree theft for Hughley for allegedly stealing a computer valued at nearly $500 from the store May 23.

Police recovered the computer and the other items from Hughley, Jones said.
