If you're looking for a fun-filled family oriented weekend, look no further than Conrad this Friday and Saturday.

The community will once again host its annual Black Dirt Days which takes on a "Pirate Adventure" theme.

Organizer Angie Martin said, "This goes back 20 years, but it died off for a little while and now it's back for the fourth straight year better than ever."

Pictured in their pirate attire are this year’s Mr. and Miss Black Dirt Days Mason Beeghly and Kaylee Grant. You can catch all of the action at Black Dirt Days “Pirate Adventure” this Friday and Saturday in Conrad.

The event will kick off on Friday night at 6 p.m. and the fireworks, which Martin said are always a huge hit, will be let off around 9:30 p.m. at the BCLUW football field.

"We are excited for all of the new events and the old ones," Martin said. "We've got Dueling Pianos this year which will perform from 8 to 11 p.m. on Friday night and we also are featuring a truck and tractor pull on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.; both are new to BDD."

Along with the entertainment, there will be bounce houses and many different activities set up for kids who will each get a wristband allowing unlimited access to the rides.
