Janet Overstreet quietly passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Janet was born in Marshalltown, Iowa to James Harold and Roberta Bragg.
She will be truly missed by her husband Gary Overstreet, her mother Roberta (Bo) Bragg, her sisters Jane (Mark) Esbeck, Joan (Doug) Clemens, her daughter in law Jennifer McClain, granddaughter Deianiera McClain and many nieces, nephew and wonderful friends.
Janet's body is being donated to the study of Medicine at the University of Florida. The family requests donations in Janet's memory to be made to Beneva Christian Church (4835 Beneva Road, Sarasota, FL 34233) in lieu of flowers or other remembrances. There was a celebration of Janet's life at her sister's home (8977 Rocky Lake Court, Sarasota, FL 34238) from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday, June 2.
