Iowa Community College Athletic Conference schools grabbed half of the first team spots on the National Fastpitch Coaches Association NJCAA Division II All-America first team.

Included in that impressive group of talent is Marshalltown Community College's Hally Lenzine.

The sophomore was named to the NFCA All-America first team as a catcher after hitting .469 with 29 home runs and 77 RBIs. Her 29 home runs were second-most in Division II.

Lenzine is the first-ever All-American for the MCC softball program.

Kirkwood had four first-team picks, including sophomore outfielder Nicole Fisher. The Conrad native Fisher finished the season with 25 home runs and 69 RBIs.

Iowa Central had three on the first team for the ICCAC's eight on the 16-player squad, which was announced on Friday.
